One housing contact. Fewer moving parts.Discuss weekly or monthly billing, company invoicing and vendor paperwork. Keep housing details together instead of chasing separate reservations.
Built around your project.A kitchen for real meals, laundry at home and a place to sit together after the shift. Ask about truck and trailer parking and outdoor amenities.
More room to live. More room to recharge. The company gets better direct value. The workers get a real place to live. And because we own and operate the homes, there is no marketplace middleman taking a cut or slowing down the relationship. We are family owned and operated, and taking care of your workers from move-in through move-out is our highest priority.
After a long day on the job, your crew should have a place that works like a home: somewhere to cook dinner, wash clothes in their own washer and dryer, park work vehicles, watch TV, sit outside, fire up the grill, and relax together. That is how we think about every home we put into the Homes For Workers portfolio.
A real place to recharge after the workday—not another hotel hallway.
Crews can cook real meals, store groceries and reduce the cost and hassle of eating out every day.
Flexible sleeping layouts help companies house teams efficiently without sacrificing comfort.
Covered patios, TVs, grills and gathering spaces give workers somewhere to actually unwind.
Tell us about the project and we’ll match your crew with owner-direct DFW homes designed to save the company money, give workers a better place to live, and make the entire housing process easier.

We own and operate these homes. That lets us focus on the things workers need during longer assignments—and give companies a direct, better-value alternative to booking room after room.
Pool, hot tub, fire features and outdoor space give crews somewhere to decompress after a long shift.
TVs, bar seating, grills and fire pits turn the house into a real place to live after work.
Cook real meals and keep longer stays practical.
Space to actually rest and recover between shifts.
Sleeping layouts that can work for teams—not just individual travelers.
Real cookware and real kitchens help workers avoid living on restaurant food.
Dishes, glassware, mugs and everyday essentials make the home ready for longer stays.
No marketplace middleman. No Homes For Workers booking fee. We match your project to the best available homes in our portfolio and give you our best direct rates.
That means your crew can cook at the house, spend less on restaurant meals, and enjoy a real home environment after work. It’s one more way our homes deliver more value than standard hotel rooms.
A backyard grill is a simple feature that makes a big difference for crews staying for weeks or months.
When people stay in hotels, they usually end up eating out constantly. Our homes make it easier to keep the crew together, cook on-site, and create a more comfortable after-work routine.
One of the biggest differences between a hotel room and a real home is simple: your workers can wash and dry their clothes whenever they need to. Add full kitchens, practical sleeping capacity and real living space, and long assignments become far easier on the crew.
Workers can wash uniforms and everyday clothes whenever they need to—without hauling laundry through a hotel, waiting on shared machines, or finding a laundromat after a long shift.
Covered patios, TVs and gathering areas give crews somewhere to unwind together.
Some homes offer pools, hot tubs and outdoor features you simply don’t get with standard hotel rooms.
Multi-bed layouts help house teams efficiently while keeping everyone together.
Cookware, dishes and household basics make longer stays easier from day one.
When crews are away for weeks or months, the difference between a room and a home matters. These are spaces where workers can cook, eat together, watch a game, relax, shower comfortably and get real rest.
Large living spaces, comfortable seating, TVs and fireplaces—not separate hotel rooms at the end of every shift.
Real dining space for meals, meetings and downtime.
A movie room and multiple sofas give workers space to switch off after work.
Comfortable furnished bedrooms made for longer stays.
More usable living space means a better quality of life during the project.
Clean, comfortable, modern spaces for long-stay crews.
Another practical difference between living in a home and living out of a hotel room.
Storage, full vanities and room for workers to settle in.

That same owner-direct service is what Homes For Workers brings to crew housing: real homes, fast answers, and one accountable local team.
After an attic fire displaced our family, we faced eight months in a hotel with children and four dogs. Finding a real home changed everything. Combined with our construction background, that experience shaped the housing we now provide for working crews.
It sounds like the beginning of a joke. It isn’t.
A squirrel changed the direction of our family’s life—and eventually became the reason Homes For Workers exists.
Our family has been in the construction industry for more than 30 years. We’ve worked the long days, traveled for major projects and corporate builds, and spent months at a time living out of hotel rooms. We know what it feels like to finish a hard day’s work and return to a room where your bed is also your living room, your kitchen is a microwave, and there really isn’t anywhere to feel at home.
For years, we accepted that as part of working on the road.
Then one day, the problem followed us home.
A squirrel got into the attic of our family home and chewed through an electrical wire. That damaged wire started a fire. Thankfully, our family was safe, but the fire spread quickly enough that our house was no longer livable.
Suddenly, we weren’t construction people talking about what it was like to live away from home.
We were a displaced family without a home of our own.
Our insurance company told us the repairs were expected to take about eight months. Their proposed solution was simple: a hotel room.
For eight months.
For our family.
And our four dogs.
We looked at each other and immediately knew:
“There is absolutely no way we can live like this for eight months.”
We were still running our construction company every day. We had tools and equipment that needed to be protected. We had four dogs that needed space. We needed somewhere to cook, somewhere to wash our clothes, somewhere to sit outside, and somewhere we could actually live.
We couldn’t imagine eating restaurant food every night for eight months. We didn’t want our dogs trapped in a hotel. We didn’t want to worry every night about tools sitting outside in a parking lot. And after working all day, we certainly didn’t want to come back to four walls and live out of suitcases for the better part of a year.
We didn’t just need somewhere to sleep.
We needed somewhere to live.
So instead of moving into a hotel, we found a house.
Finding one for only eight months turned out to be much harder than it should have been. Many landlords wanted a one-year lease. Other properties came with restrictions that didn’t fit the way a real family lives. We ultimately found a home and furnished it ourselves while continuing to operate our construction business.
It was stressful.
But when we finally moved into that house, something happened almost immediately.
Life started to feel normal again.
We could make breakfast in our own kitchen. We could wash our clothes whenever we wanted. Our dogs could run around in a fenced yard. We could grill dinner. We could sit in a living room. We could invite family over. We could close the door at night and feel like we were in our own space.
And that feeling changed everything.
We had already spent years seeing the same problem from the construction side. We knew what it was like for workers to leave their families, travel for a project, and spend weeks or months living in hotels. Now we had experienced the same problem from the other side—as a family suddenly displaced from our own home.
We realized there was a huge gap between a hotel room and a long-term lease.
And we believed there had to be a better solution.
That was the beginning of HomesForWorkers.com.
Homes For Workers wasn’t created in a conference room. It wasn’t created by somebody looking at a spreadsheet and deciding workforce housing looked like a good business opportunity.
It was built from experience.
Built from construction. Built from months on the road. Built from a house fire. Built from trying to keep four dogs happy while our family didn’t have a home.
And ultimately, built around one simple idea:
“If somebody has to leave their home to work for your company, they deserve a place that still feels like home.”
That’s why we don’t believe workforce housing should mean doing everything as cheaply as possible.
We want the people staying with us to walk through the door and think:
“Wow. They actually took care of us.”
So we focus on the things that matter when you’re living somewhere—not merely sleeping there.
Some of our homes also include pools, hot tubs, fire pits, outdoor bars and game-day patios.
Not because every worker needs luxury.
But because every person deserves some quality of life when they’re spending weeks or months away from home.
Major projects and corporate builds meant months spent living away from home in small hotel rooms.
A squirrel chewed an attic wire, causing a fire that left our home uninhabitable.
Our insurer expected us to live in a hotel for roughly eight months. We knew that was not a realistic way to live.
A kitchen, laundry, a fenced yard, privacy, secure space, a grill and the freedom to live normally gave us our quality of life back.
Finding flexible eight-month housing was much harder than it should have been.
